My name is Donna Zangaro, fellow pet lover and owner of Precious Pets. I have had the pleasure and sometimes heartache of caring for pets most of my life. After 25 years of caring for my own pets as well as others’ pets, I decided to turn my passion for animals into a career. Thus was born Precious Pets.
In today’s hectic society, worrying about proper pet care can sometimes keep you up at night. Can we really take that trip with Buster? Will the neighbors check in on Fluffy while I’m out of town this weekend? How will I get Cisco his shots working 9 to 5? Will Jade be able to hold it while I’m at work? Thankfully, we are here to provide these services.
Precious Pets provides an alternative to kenneling your pets while you are away. Instead of heading to a facility with many other pets in an unfamiliar caged environment, your pets can relax safely and comfortably at home. We can provide companionship as well as everyday essentials like feeding, watering, walking, playing, and if needed administering medication. We give them the needed attention while you’re away.
We can also help alleviate the stress of trying to get your pet to an appointment. Precious Pets provides pet taxi services to and from your pet’s vet or grooming appointment.
We also provide overnight companionship, holiday visits, and all natural pet treats.

How long have you been in business?
I have been taking care of animals for 25 years. I decided to male it a full time business for the last 2 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide pet sitting,walking,playtime,med administration,pet taxi and overnight stays. We cater to your needs and the needs of your fur kids.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I wanted to be a veterinarian. I have always loved animals and enjoyed the love and calmness that they provide.People are busy and I decided that the fur kids deserved to have quality time while their parents provide for them.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I believe that we provide a high quality of customer service and we go that extra mile in everything that we provide.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I currently only service the Cobb,Cherokee,Paulding and Fulton
counties. I would love to in the future open a doggie day care as well for fur kids that need that constant attention.
