How long have you been in business?
We have been in the mortgage and real estate industry for a combined 15 years here in the Atlanta/Marietta area!
What is your primary product or service?
We are mortgage brokers, and offer mortgage loans on new home purchases and refinances. The difference between a mortgage broker and a mortgage banker is that we have access to over 200 banks to choose your interest rate and program from rather than being limited to one bank as a mortgage banker is. Rates and programs vary so much that we enjoy having options to finance our customers with.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We are loan officers employed by White Star Mortgage. We enjoy working with people in the real estate industry and arranging the financing to move someone into a new home or lower thier current payment is a very rewarding occupation!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Communication is our top priority. We have a system in place so that you know what is going on with your loan at any given time. With our experience in working with our past customers and our new home builders, we know that this is very high on everyone's list. We also stay on top of the rates in the market and will call our customers to let them know that the rate they want is available. We dont just advertise low rates, we deliver them.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
White Star Mortgage is part of a nationwide company that has branches all over the United States. We finance loans in 24 states, including Florida, North Carolina and California, just to name a few.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are off of Chastain Road in the Towne Park Business Center. We can meet at our office, however, many of our customers we will meet them at a place close to their home or work to discuss loan options, or we conference call so as to save time if they prefer to do this as well. Your satisfaction is our #1 goal.
What type of payments do you accept?
We do not charge an application fee.
Which areas do you service?
We service the entire state of Gerogia and 24 total states around the country.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We have a managing broker in our office, and our corporate headquarters is based out of Tampa, Florida. We run our mortgage team much like a Realtor that works for a brokerage such as Keller Williams or ReMax runs their business. We have our own systems and work independently, even though we have accountability and auditing systems. This allows us to customize our processes and serve our customers to the level of excellence that we desire.
What are your hours of operation?
We are in the office from 9-6 but also are on call over the weekends, and our phones are forwarded to us at all times. If you leave us a message after hours we will call back if not that day, the next business day. We know that a lot of real estate happens on the weekends so we or one of our team members are available after hours to assist you.
